Clan Overview
The Soldiers of Valkyrie Clan is a cross-game clan. SoVx plays Halo: Reach, Halo: Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians. The clan is in a competitive-military hybrid format which means that all types of clan battles are on the table when it comes to playing with or against SoVx. Our ranking structure is military based, but we are overall laid back and nobody expects "yes sir, no sir". Blatantly disrespectful behavior is of course prohibited.
Clan History
The Soldiers of Valkyrie Clan was established in 2007 after a rift within a now nonexistent clan known as RCSx. After the first leader of SoVx disappeared in late 2007, then co-leader SoVx 2Kwiik assumed command of the clan. The fate of the first leader of SoVx remains unknown to this day. Between the years of 2007 and 2011, SoVx had been back and forth between Halo and Call of Duty. In 2010, SoVx merged into another Call of Duty Clan, but due to disagreements with the leadership SoVx declared independence and continued to function with virtually no loss in membership. After our time on Modern Warfare 2 concluded, SoVx planted its roots on Halo: Reach in 2011 and has remained a primarily Halo based clan since. In 2012 and early 2013 SoVx attempted to launch a division on Halo 4, but due to the combination of an unsuccessful war, internal strife and general disdain for Halo 4 SoVx closed its Halo 4 division and focused solely on Halo: Reach. From 2013 to November 2014, SoVx fought numerous battles and wars on Halo: Reach with unprecedented success. The SoVx Halo: Reach record is currently 75 wins and 15 losses. Once the Master Chief Collection was launched, SoVx devoted all of its efforts to MCC which resulted in the clan rising to top tier status between the years of 2014 and 2015. SoVx enjoyed a MCC record of 41 wins and a mere 7 losses, three of which were later redeemed in a rematch. Momentum continued into late 2015 and early 2016 in Halo 5 until SoVx 2Kwiik retired from his position as leader.
